Dan Cook has been President of Conservation Solutions Corporation since 1993. Conservation Solutions works with healthcare, commercial, industrial, multifamily, and institutional building owners to help reduce energy, water and chemical use and costs with innovative technologies, expertise, and services. The company also helps commercial buildings and education facilities to improve indoor air quality (IAQ) and student and worker performance using UVC system and air filtration. In hospitals, healthcare facilities UVC systems are used to reduce Hospital Acquired Infections (HAIs) and Ventilator Associated Pneumonias (VAPs) while saving energy and improving ventilation in HVAC systems.

Prior to Conservation Solutions Corporation Mr. Cook was Vice President of EnerPro Engineering providing utility incentivized programs for high efficiency lighting and motor replacement projects. He was a Senior Project Manager at XENERGY developing performance contracts, submetering consulting projects with Con Edison and natural gas transportation consulting services for companies in the eastern U. S. In Chicago, Mr. Cook was a Senior Technical Manager for American Energy Management developing performance contracts and Natural Gas consulting services as well energy and water efficiency projects. At the Mid America Solar Energy Center in Minnesota, he was a project manager promoting solar energy and passive solar designs throughout the north Midwest. At the Alaska Coalition he was a national organizer in Washington D. C. to pass legislation to protect 126 million acres of Alaska as nation parks, wild and scenic river, wildlife refuges, wilderness areas, and national forests. He started his career as an exploration geologist based out of Arizona in the hard rock mining industry. Mr. Cook is a graduate of New England College with a B. S. in geology and graduate studies in hydrogeology at the University of Arizona. He is currently a member of the AEE, AFE, ASHRAE, NEHES and the U. S. Green Building Council.
